Myriil/Dilantear Songs~

Hey all,

Been a while since I've posted a journal but I had this flash inspiration this week for two of my earliest characters created, Myriil and Dilantear. Their complex relationship is one that haunts me, and recently I've found song lyrics that fit their relationship, as viewed from their perspectives.

Oddly enough, the lyrics are from two separate English translations of the same song, "Futatsu no Kodou to Akumi Tsumi," the opening song to Vampire Knight.

I'm probably being too obsessive about this but it's been so fascinating to imagine each character tangled in the lyrics of each song. If I could make the AMVs in my mind, I would. ^_^;;;  However, I'll just leave a smattering of links for anyone who is interested.

Beyond red, a shaking dream of red [We're falling!]
Towards a dream that lies within a dream
How many times must we, forget our memories, that should have always stayed?
These feelings that I have, are all both good and bad, but they start to fade away!
Has that smile soaked in sin, become lost once again, deep within this awful cruelty?
Please no. Let that smile stay inside both our worlds!
