This picture amuses me. I am, of course, attracted immediately to the Cheshire cat grin plastered over his face. I can't help but wonder why he's so amused, but with that grin, odds are a straight answer will not be found. ^^

I really like the soft colours that compose the picture; they suit his distant expression, as if the character is lost in a reverie. I wonder if it's a good or sad one?

0.0 This is an intriguing picture for several reasons. An obvious one would be the composition of the female-not sure if she's coming apart or coming together-as she flies to what I assume is her love. Another factor that catches my attention is his expression - is this relationship mutual or is there a hidden motive or plot in the undercurrent.

All right, it's true. I still possess a love for Pokemon, so this picture makes me giggle. I like that it isn't the same type of Pokemon expressing feeling for another - offers a sense of variety, you know? Also, the top hat with the Raichu is wordlessly adorable. I want to hug him.

This commission is fantastic. The expression of the fox demon is framed nicely with the texture of the black fur and the colours that encircle him. Very attractive piece indeed.

I imagined it to be a reference to Sleeping Beauty in some manner, but this picture far surpasses the multiple versions I know of that story. The colours fascinate me, and I find the male's expression very peculiar. Almost like he placed her under the spell, at least to me. o.o

*Mouth agape and pointing* In blue pen?! That's amazing! I can't even doodle in pencil without making hundreds of mistakes! I love their expressions. ^^ I mean, what are they contemplating right there? I am uncomfortably ansty to know the answer.

Very alluring. The entire picture feels like it is moving, alive with the water that frames it. I'm a little curious as to what the creature is doing. I want to say "checking out the orb", but is that to simple an answer for this attractive piece?

I'm hooked. The romance here seems very light, but I think there is so much to be said about their eye contact. What are they saying? Are they saying anything at all, only communicating through touch and sight? I have to hesitate to make a decision because the moment is truly theirs - who knows of their feelings but them?

Oh the curiosity that this picture places in me. Again, the eye contact catches my attention first, but then I find it strange and intriguing that their expressions seem almost curious, like they're meting for the first time, but their hearts have always had a bond.

Okay. I do miss the ability to feature artwork as thumbs in my journal, but I decided that shouldn't stop me from featuring the awesome artwork I've received from commissions (mostly Broken Requiem), and other Broken Requiem requests and gift artses.

Soon, I will add more links, spread about the gift arts that people have given me since I started here at dA, but I've only started collecting links lately, so give me a little more time to expand the list.

One of my first commissions of Mitexi. She looks different than I had imagined, but I really love the soft and possessed expression she has.

Not necessarily new or Broken Requiem per se, but this was the other half of my commission from this lovely artist. I suppose in a way, this does reflect Riku's feelings further in the story...

Mitexi is really not the chibi type, but her expression is hilarious (to me...). She saw someone with a popsicle; I'm sure of it. Hiro's harrassed look is adorable.

I love the message weaved into this picture, how Mitexi is hesitating to touch Hiro's hand, somehow unsure where to go. Hiro looks focused on something, trying to plot out his plans of action, but just because he appears unaware of her struggle doesn't mean he is. Hiro's unpredictability may surprise you. [_{And I LOVE Mitexi's outfit!!}]

The intricacy of this commission attracts me. The artist put so much effort into studying our characters and really brought it out in their positioning, the ribbons, everything. Mitexi and Hiro carry a great number of secrets and this one is no different. The threads of fate lead them to a single office beyond the fandoms that let them first take breath.

Here's a picture I was not expecting, but oh, how I love its unique scenario and underlying messages. I look at this picture and the words fly away because the owner's creativity and imagination just fascinate me to no end.

No one is familiar with this character (yet), but he is shaping up to be one of my favourite OCs . I am ecstatic over how well ~ItoMaki portrayed him with little to no reference at all. The tattoo is fantastic!

Isn't she awesome?! The artist and the character, I mean. I'm flattered that she tried the flowing air and dynamic pose for my commission - - because Mitexi looks so alive, almost animated in this picture. Can't decide now who she's looking at - Kai or Hiro. She's thinking of Hiro, no argument, but looking. Hmmm.

*Gleeeeee* They look so shiny and mysterious with their thoughts. Mitexi seems vacant, but it feels like a facade to me, and as everyone knows, Hiro Takamura is unpredictable as all hell. Who knows what he's hiding behind that smirk... o.o

It is hard to describe the allure and capturing quality of this picture, but I tell you that I am in love with it. Pencil commish makes it hard to distinguish the difference in colour for Mitexi's hair (making her rather like Tifa {}), but the expression and pose is so Mitexi - I feel like she's doing a check of the enemies surrounding them. And Hiro - he's so cool and smooth about the matter, maybe even a little bored? He is portrayed rather well.

Not cute this time, but emotional. Both look like their minds and hearts are distracted and consumed with whatever thought is holding theit attention, yet they are stil very intertwined, connected with one another.

GRRRRR! to Yang for not telling me about this commission! I figured her list was the same as mine.... Anyhow, this picture is awesome! I love how Mitexi looks as if she is summoning something - apt to be the shadows - and Hiro is wondering about something with this distant, almost sad look on his face. Makes me think what those to are thinking about each other.

They look adorable together. I can't decide if it's a whim photo-op or a well-deserved night out. I love Mitexi's outfit, and as usual, no tie for Hiro. He's teasing with that open neck, ne?

If only I had the words to express how awesome this commission is. The intimacy between Mitexi and Hiro is so beautiful, speaking through touch, not words. I wasn't expecting such detail and intensity of emotion, so needless to say, my heart is beating rather fast.

I couldn't help commissioning this fantastic girl again! I really pushed her limits with this commission - kiss scene, Riku's complicated outfit () - but I'm elated with the result. It's just so touching, their final kiss before fate pulls their hand apart. More DTOF rather than BR, but I couldn't help adding it to my commish list!

What a sad, haunting picture. An incident occuring before Broken Requiem begins, this scene between Hiro and Namine pulls at the heartstrings until they hang distorted and pained. Poor Hiro...

O.O My gosh. I can't tell if this scene is intense or gentle, but either way, it is beautiful. I can almost hear their hearts beating.

What can I say about this commission? It is just so sweet; Hiro reminds me of a guardian angel, watching over his partner whether she likes it or not ( She does, even if she denies it vehemently)

My gosh. I have to agree with some of the comments - this feels like a vampire story slowly coming to life. The eye contact is fascinating, so deep, so strong...as if nothing will separate them again.

"Okay. I know that everyone must have questions about what in the heck I'm doing, so I've asked the Broken Requiem crowd to give me a hand--"

*Chorus of groans and cursing*

"You better go as you're told or you do not want to know what I'll do to you!"

Mitexi groans and stands up, crossing her arms with a malevolent glare. "Why are you suddenly featuring now?" She sat down with a thump, refusing to put up with this any longer.

"Excellent question." *Tries to ignore the glare from the audience* "Well, I won this subscription from the lovely =Luvelia in her 'Angel/Demon Love Affair contest', so I've decided to take advantage of using thumbs in my journals to feature people."

Hiro stands with a groan. "I'm not your character; why the hell am I here?"

"You may go."

Hiro tried, but a tug on his weapon belt and a heavy glare from Mitexi threw him back in his seat. His mutterings carried up from the crowd.

"Okay. Anyone else?"

"Why the did you pick those ? I never would've picked those things to be featured in your journal." Julien didn't bother to return to his seat, stomping out of the room, lighting a cigarette on the way.

"Um...thanks, Julien. I, uh, picked these deviations on a whim, trying to make the feature thing a surprise for those featured. If you would rather me feature something else for the next 3 months, please comment with a link."

"How come I wasn't featured?" Kyo sounded off from the far corner of the room, tousling his blue-black hair about, forcing himself to gaze at the door and not someone else in the room.

"I chose to feature those I actively talk to, whether in real life or on dA, mostly because I know them more so than others." *Coughs and looks down*

"Do I have to ask this question," drawled from the front row from a blond man prone along the front row of chairs.

"Yes."

"Why?" He made no motion to get up.

"Just do it, Kai."

"Fine." He still didn't sit up, continuing with the bored drawl of someone barely awake. "I read your work and watch you and occasionally favourite if I think you're good enough to deserve it. Can't I be featured too?" Kai flourished his arm up in the air to emphasize his point, but didn't react beyond that.

"Yes. If you would like to be featured in my journal for the 3 months that I'll have my subcription, please comment on this journal with links to two of your favourite pieces of work. I only ask that you are one of my watchers."

*Gust of wind moves through the room, emphasizing tension, boredom, silence and rising tempers*

"Um...okay...Dismissed?"
