“I thought you said…” Frisk turned to the window, touching the pane with fingers atremble. His reflection avoided her gaze. “You loved my soul.”

“i do.”

“That my reincarnation doesn’t matter.”

“it don’t.”

“Then what is this distance?” With a sigh, she twisted towards Sans again. The pure white of his skeleton blurred with the dark walls of his room. Hot tears slid down her cold cheeks. He noticed, said nothing about it.

“when ya care, your loved ones get hurt.” Sans hid his hands in his hoodie pouch, shrugged through the heartache. “i can’t afford ta care anymore, kid.”

I haven't lost my drabble skills!! Woooo!
For those who don't know, a drabble for me is a piece that is 100 words in length. I use them as challenges sometimes to see if I can get the emotion and atmosphere across in a small space of text.

Although I am

's co-writer in Securitale, I also have my own Undertale AU concepts that I would like to eventually write about. While there are inevitable similarities to both AUs, since Tekichan and I share a lot of perceptions of the characters, there are established differences between them as well. In terms of my submissions, I will include the AU name in the title of the piece for clarity.
