People like to assume Zexion favours black, that of the darkness, the perfect cloak. He finds their answer amusing. Black is too simple achromatic nothingness.
He touches the shimmering blue strands covering his right eye. No, blue is more appropriate. How many shades of darkened blue exist? Navy, indigo, ultramarine, tints even without a name. If naming colour would betray him, then black would do just that. No one can guess the glimmer of his strings as they wrap around his victim's heart.
Stare deep into the darkness and you will see the untitled blue; there, does he find perfection.
